River Rock Builders, LLC is a new single-family housing construction company working out of Little Rock, Arkansas.
That sentence is short because the checkable facts are short, and this page would rather be short and true than long and decorative. The company is registered under the name at the top of every page on this site. The office is at the address in the block beside this text. The phone number reaches a person during working hours. The trade classification is New Single-Family Housing Construction, which carries the North American Industry Classification System code 236115 — a specific code for building new houses, not a general contracting catch-all.
What we do is narrow on purpose. We build new houses on individual lots for the people who will live in them. We are not a remodelling contractor, not a commercial builder, and not a developer putting up speculative inventory. Narrowing the work is what makes it possible to know the ground in one region properly rather than approximately, which is the whole argument this site makes.

A 5.1 · Omissions
What is deliberately absent from this website
Every item below is missing on purpose, and each one is a claim that could not be verified by a reader at the time this site was written.
- No years-in-business figure and no count of houses completed. Both are commonplace and neither can be checked from a web page.
- No testimonials, reviews, star ratings or review counts. The region on the home page reserved for client references is visibly empty rather than filled with invented quotations, and it stays that way until real clients give written permission.
- No awards, rankings, badges or association memberships.
- No licensing, bonding, insurance or certification language. This is the one people find surprising. Statements of that kind are standard in this trade, and they are also the most common reason a contractor's advertising is rejected when the registration number behind the statement is not shown alongside it. Until that number is in the site's configuration, no such language renders anywhere.
- No prices, price ranges or per-square-foot figures. Any number we could publish would be an average across parcels that have nothing to do with yours.
- No photographs of houses. Every drawing on this site was authored for it. Nothing here is a stock photograph or a picture of somebody else's work presented as ours.
- No promises made in advertising, no urgency, no countdowns and no seasonal offers. What we undertake to do is written into a contract you sign, which is the only place an undertaking belongs.
None of this means the underlying facts do not exist. It means they are not the kind of thing a stranger can confirm from a web page, so they belong in a conversation where you can ask for documents. References, current insurance certificates and the addresses of finished houses are all available on request, and asking for them from any builder you are considering is the right thing to do.

Five things you can verify without asking us anything
Due diligence on a builder should not depend on the builder's cooperation. These are all public, and they are the ones we would check if the positions were reversed.
Public record
- The business registration for River Rock Builders, LLC with the Arkansas Secretary of State, which will show the entity status and the registered agent.
- The contractor licensing register held by the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board, searchable by company name.
- Permit records held by the city or county with jurisdiction over any address we give you, which show what was permitted and what was inspected.
- County assessor and recorder records for any completed house whose address we provide.
- Court records in the counties where we work, for judgments or liens involving the company.
Do this for every builder you are considering, not only for us. It costs an evening and it is the cheapest part of the entire project.
Ask us the difficult questions first
