What this website is

It is a description of a construction business and the work it performs. It is published for general information so that somebody considering building a house can understand how we approach the work before contacting us.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on it forms a contract. A binding agreement between us comes into existence only through a written construction contract signed by both parties. Where anything on this site differs from that signed contract, the contract governs without exception.

Descriptions, spans and technical statements

The scopes of work, stage descriptions and typical spans published here describe how we generally work. They are planning information, not commitments. The scope, specification, allowances, price and schedule for your project are set out in your own contract documents, and those documents are the only place they are set.

The technical material about ground conditions, foundation types, building assemblies, permitting and regulation is written to be accurate and general. It is not engineering advice, legal advice or a substitute for a site-specific investigation, and it must not be relied on for a particular parcel or a particular building. Codes, regulatory requirements, agency procedures and review timescales change, and jurisdictions differ from one another. Always confirm current requirements with the authority having jurisdiction over your address and with a licensed professional engaged for your project.

No price, price range or cost-per-unit figure for this company appears anywhere on this site. If you encounter one attributed to us on any other website, it did not come from us and it is not a quotation.

Drawings and illustrations

Every drawing on this site was authored for it. The boring log, the sections, the details and the service-area diagram are teaching illustrations of typical conditions in this region. They are not records of a specific borehole, a specific parcel or a specific completed project, and they are labelled as such where they appear. They must not be used for construction, valuation or any regulatory purpose.

Enquiries you send us

When you submit the consultation form you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it, including any parcel information belonging to somebody else. Please do not send confidential material, financial account details or identity documents through the form.

Submitting the form places no obligation on either of us. It does not reserve a place in a schedule, hold a price or commit us to taking on the project. We aim to reply during working hours, Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00 (America/Chicago), but these terms do not commit us to a particular response time. How the information is handled is described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Please do not use this site to submit automated or bulk enquiries, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or its host, to interfere with its operation, to scrape it for the purpose of building a competing listing, or to send anything unlawful or abusive through the form.

Intellectual property

The text, drawings, layout and code of this site belong to River Rock Builders, LLC unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to read it, print it and share links to it. Republishing substantial parts of the text or reusing the drawings elsewhere requires our written permission.

Links to other sites

Where this site names an external organisation such as a building department, a state agency or a public register, that reference is for your convenience. We do not control those bodies or their websites and we are not responsible for their content, their availability or their procedures.

To the fullest extent the law permits, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on the general information published here, as distinct from our obligations under a signed construction contract, which are governed by that contract.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from use of this website.

We may revise these terms. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date at the top.
